One year ago today, I had a heart attack in the mountains of Colorado. I am grateful to be alive. I am inspired and emboldened by my amazing friends. I am driven by your love and concern, to live each and every day to its fullest. I find little changes and ideas expanding into larger life changes. I still am loud and get excited like a very large puppy at the smallest things. At times, I am still insecure, weighed down by lack of self esteem, afraid to screw up, self critical to the max, uncomfortable in large groups and hounded by a judgemental,who do you think you are? whispering in my ear everytime I try to step out of old comfort zones. I still tend to feel like the dumbest kid in the room. But, even with all that baggage pestering me, I feel change for the better. We can only live and learn. I enjoy the heck out of the people in my life. If I can help others live up to their full potential, even if only in the smallest way, then I will be on the way to living, really living, up to mine. I am so grateful. I hope you all have to put up with me for many years to come. What a journey.
