One year ago today, I had my first radiation treament. That was the beginning of the worst two months of my life. Due to some side effects and an infection, I was so sick, some days wondering if I would ever get back to normal. Even though we suffered through that time, I feel so blessed to be on this side of the treatment. My illness brought clarity to me, brought Cory and Elizabeth and I closer, gave me the opportunity to spend extended time with my sister and my aunt and brought some amazing people into our lives, my Hope Lodge and FUMC families. Love and prayers to all. What if our blessings come through raindrops, what if our healing comes through tears...Thanks for everything!
