One year ago today, I went to the Time-Warner News studio to shoot what I thought would be a regular show. But then Wendy Davis and the Senate Democrats started their filibuster, and we just kept on covering it - Capital Tonight, which is normally from 7 - 7:30, never ended that night until after midnight; we covered it live until the bitter end. Ive always been proud of TWCNews commitment to covering politics and government, but never was I more proud of my longstanding association with them than I was that night. People needed to see what legislators were doing in their name. In fact, people always do.
