One year ago today, at this very moment, I was being prepped for my breast cancer surgery...a bi-lateral Mastectomy. Oddly, I was very calm during the prep. I had prayed, I had cried, I had made plans for my recovery and I was ready for the cancer to be gone. Today, Im so thankful for the good health Im enjoying and all the blessings Ive had throughout this very had year. Today I feel great. Im happy to be here with my husband, son, family and friends. As always, I give God all the glory. Ladies, if you havent had a mammogram, schedule one today. Im living proof that early detection saves lives. Ralph Davis
