One year ago today dad had a stroke that ultimately killed him. Im encouraging any of you that will listen to insist that anyone with any disability whether elderly or home bound to get a lifeline type product. It certainly would not have saved dads life but it would have saved him from the terror of not knowing how long he was going to have to wait for someone to find him. Since his cell phone was in his left pocket he had no way to call for help. He knew he told me not to come back to visit that night. Had Tim and I not followed our instinct and Im sure some heavenly prodding Dad would have died waiting. Thank God we went back over. But I know how bad I feel just knowing he was waiting for 30 min to an hour. I know how grateful he was that I didnt listen to him and not come back, and know how much more devastating it could have been. I would not want any of you or your loved ones to go through that. Please, consider it. If your loves one says no, get it for them anyways.
