One year ago today my life changed. I found out more about myself and the people I care for....what life means...what LOVE means...how to let go of the crazy shit in your life because it all can be taken from you in, well, a heart beat. One year ago today I drove my love and best friend, Robby Steinhardt, to the ER. I lied on the forms so hed be seen quicker only to find out he was having a silent heart attack. Doctors stabilized him for five days before performing the quintuple bypass surgery that saved his life. To be told that if we had waited one more day he would have arrived in a body bag is earth shattering. Weve been through a lot this year. I am amazed how well Robby has bounced back and what a truly remarkable person he is. Just thinking about where I was a year ago to where we are now...I wouldnt have traded it for the world. ---I deeply thank each and every nurse, doctor, social worker...our FRIENDS and FANS... and all who touched our lives during his 52 day hospital stay from the bottom of my heart. Couldnt have done it without you. Thank you! I cant listen to a second of this song without bursting into tears... there are a few other Garth Brooks songs that fit the feelings I have...but for now....I love you Robby
