One year ago today my world turned upside down! Dad had a simple 3 day stay in the hospital for lung cancer surgery. The next day he was on life support fighting for his life, after a hard fought 10 month battle he made his flight to heaven. I miss him terribly everyday but know he is breathing easy now. As I mourn the loss of my dear sweet friend Paul Shaffer I know dad was one of many that was there to greet him this morning when he made his flight. When I think of these two men who cared so deeply for each other, I praise God for what they stood for on earth. Family, friends, God, hard work, morals and love pretty much describes them. At this point I ask you to please remember the Shaffer Family in your prayers as they have some very difficult days facing them. I love you all Lisa Gothard Shaffer, Jordan Shaffer, Jered Shaffer, Tiffany Shaffer and momma Irene.❤️😢🙏
