One year ago today the University of Missouri invited Kevin Crane to be the Commencement speaker for the 2013 graduating class. Many people felt Crane was an inappropriate speaker given his pivotal role in my wrongful conviction. I appreciate everyone who called and emailed the University to protest their decision. I know you all made a LOT of noise! One year later I’d like to wish all of THIS year’s class a happy graduation as a FREE man! To celebrate your achievement here’s a much more appropriate and inspiring Commencement message than Kevin Crane could ever deliver!!!
