One year, four months and eleven days ago mom went to the doctor and I prayed and prayed to hear from her all day, not knowing what that lump was going to turn out to be. 4:30 rolled around Im getting ready to coach soccer and I call her to find out she didnt get the news we hoped for, I found out she had breast cancer. That was the day we thought our lives were going to be flipped upside down. Worried to death, how we were going to manage to get through something like this. But we had to look on the bright side, God doesnt face people with more than they can handle. She had to have surgery and she came to conclusion having a mastectomy was the best idea. 56 treatments of chemo looked like a long road to get too, but here we are putting it to an end and I havent seen her drop her head one time during this. Her positive attitude, friends and family supporting her, loving her and praying for her has made this possible. My mom is one of the strongest people I know, not thinking of giving up but living with Janas saying, Whats Next? Im glad to see these chemos go out the door and I cant wait for the next 6 weeks of radiation to be over with. Mom, I know you will do great with this too remember you are so close to ending all of this cancer and totally beating it! Im so proud of you! I love you ❤️ Lisa Starcher
