Oneness Seeing ourselves as separate – from others, from - TopicsExpress

Oneness Seeing ourselves as separate – from others, from love, from our reality – lies at the root of troubles in the world. How different would life be if we experienced ourselves as one united family all on the same side, and if we experienced ourselves as one with love itself, ever loved, loving and loveable. Oneness perspectives are now supported by scientific and quantum physics findings, metaphysicians, spiritual paths and ancient and modern day mystics alike. When you embrace at a fundamental level that you are one with all beings, and more than that, with your reality (as quantum science now proves), you open to experience life in a more meaningful, intimate, loving and empowering way. You more fully take responsibility for your life and impact, moving away from separation-based perspectives of blame, judgment, punishment, victimhood, etc. Embracing Oneness is about understanding that at our core we are all of the same light, yet each shining a unique expression of that infinitely-faceted light. Oneness isn’t about being or becoming the same in our personality selves. If anything, understanding Oneness leads to a greater honouring and gratitude of our differences and how together these create the most beautiful tapestry of humanity – a synergy that becomes the symphony of our united family. This honouring dispels traps like jealousy and competition, encouraging appreciation, co-operation and cohesiveness instead. Do not look to sing another’s song, for it is YOUR notes that will make life’s sweetest symphony to which we all belong.” An understanding that you and your reality are inextricably linked also brings freedom and empowerment. You can own, recognize and acknowledge that as you change, so does your reality. How can you transform your reality through your own self? What beliefs, thoughts, feelings, attitudes, choices, actions, etc. would best serve you, others and the world? If you want a more loving world, if you want to experience, give and receive more love, how can you open to and be more of the love that you are? If you hold spiritual perspectives, how can you open to more of the unconditional love the Universe/Source/Creator has for you? How can you love yourself as others and others as yourself? Another gift of Oneness perspectives is accepting it all – the dark and the light – seeing all existing as potentialities of consciousness. That doesn’t mean turning a blind eye to them, justifying them, and we as humanity are on a journey of evolution, healing, and transformation, but it helps with not judging whatever is in existence and brings greater compassion which is a healing in itself. Love is a gateway to Oneness. In love you naturally join with and open to love, truth and beauty in others. Love respects, responds, connects, shares and cares. It lies at the heart of Oneness, for it lies at the heart of All. If you feel less open to love at any given time, understanding Oneness even from an intellectual perspective can help the way you experience and relate to people, your life and the world. Part of what makes life magical for me is an awareness that my outer reality is not the solid, separate, random occurrence it may appear to be, and is indeed interrelated to my consciousness. What is happening ‘out there’ in your personal reality is rich in meaning and significance and over-brimming with insights and information about you! Awakening to that can be a wonderful aid for self-discovery. Below are a few quotes on Oneness. To all people, religious and non-believing, I make this appeal. Always embrace the common humanity that lies at the heart of us all. Always affirm the oneness of our human family…. Let not your differences from the views of others come in the way of the wish for their peace, happiness, and well-being.” ~ Dalai Lama Try to love someone who you want to hate, because they are just like you, somewhere inside, in a way you may never expect, in a way that resounds so deeply within you that you cannot believe it.” ~ Margaret Cho Love cannot judge. As it is one itself, it looks on all as one. Its meaning lies in oneness.” ~ A Course In Miracles With love, Aine Belton
