Onion Honey will be performing at our Annual Spring Preview - TopicsExpress

Onion Honey will be performing at our Annual Spring Preview concert this Saturday at the Cambridge Arts Theatre. Onion Honey are a pair of pseudo-gingers with banjos, Esther Wheaton and David Pike started playing music together around the same time they started cooking together and watching dozens of astronomy documentaries together; the result is a deliciously stellar blend of old-time and jug-band music that will tug at heartstrings and set feet a-tappin. Onion Honey play banjos, mandolins, guitars, washboards, washtubs and various mouth-things to accompany their singing. If music had to be categorized, theyd hang out with Willie Nelson, Mississippi John Hurt, Fish & Bird, Hoots & Hellmouth, The Ever-Lovin Jug Band, Lake of Stew, Sam Amidon, Old Man Luedecke, Roger Miller, The Good Lovelies, and Sam Doores & the Tumbleweeds. They hail from Kitchener-Waterloo. Please visit their website to find out more. Www.onionhoney
