Online dating has become a generally accepted avenue to meet a potential partner. However, who you are will determine your success, and by that I don’t mean who you are physically, intellectually or financially. Many people put the cart before the horse with their expectations of online dating, believing that a positive or desired characteristic of a potential partner equates to a successful relationship. A partner who ticks the boxes is desirable, however real success comes from who you choose to BE (your beliefs around love, relationships and yourself), before you DO (online dating) to HAVE (a successful relationship with another that mirrors the relationship with yourself). Falling in love with yourself and your life is a prerequisite for a successful relationship with another, one that is free of past negative or unhelpful beliefs and past actions and strategies that may have served only to bring about the same unsuccessful relationship experiences time and time again. Online dating is merely the doorway. Who you are at core - your beliefs, expectations, level of trust, what youve let go from the past, and how much self love you hold - will be the key to unlock that door so you can arrive at a place to draw a better relationship to you. Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.
