Only 2 more days left until I head to Ohio to gain more insight about dogs. This 3 day workshop will cover everything from beginning to advanced remote collar training, head halter training, aggression, true basic on leash obedience using a choke chain/pinch collar properly, puppy pre-school, assessment of all dogs in workshop, problem solving unwanted behaviors, the reality of working with and rehabilitating aggressive dogs and more. Here is a bit of information on the instructors that I will be learning from. Instructors: Heather Beck - Heather has been trained by the best and when not in Utah, she is often working along side the Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan, as part of his Team of Trainers at the Dog Psychology Center in California teaching Training Cesars Way workshops to groups of students from around the world. Heather spends time working with Saga Humane Society in Belize as an Animal Control Officer, helping to trap packs of feral dogs and cats. Founder of K9 Lifeline, Heather has been working with dogs since 1995. Her experience ranges from Animal Control Officer to fostering dogs for adoption to running her own large breed and pitbull rescue. George Cockrell - George is known throughout the dog world as a results based dog trainer who cares deeply for the bond between dog and owner. In May of 2012, George began basic training with his 20,000th student. This milestone is one of many George has celebrated. George is well known for his unique perspective and methods in dealing with the most severe dog problems, and his homespun logic and ability to get the message to dog owners. He has great experience in other dog endeavors. Obedience Competitions, Animal Control , Police, Military, Assistance, Therapy, Hunting, and TV work are all prominent on his resume. Scottie MacConachie - Scott MacConachie is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. Received Masters Certification at the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers National K-9s certification is recognized around the world. Scott graduated from Cesar Millans Cesars Way dog training school in 2012 Scottie has trained over 2000 dogs on and off leash and is certified by the best and has worked with world champion Ivan Balabanov and many other great trainers.
