Heres a quick refresher on sunscreens! · Look for the words broad spectrum to protect your skin from the both harmful UVA rays and UVB rays. · Apply sunscreen 15 minutes before going outdoors, use an SPF 30+ lip balm and wear protective clothing. · Look for the words water resistant”. Not all sunscreens offer water resistance. · Reapply water-resistant sunscreen as directed on the label. · In addition to sunscreen, use common sense to protect yourself against the harmful rays of the sun and avoid going in the sun during peak hours of 10 AM to 4 PM. · Contact me, if you do not understand the new labeling.
