Only 5 months since he last looked at me and smiled, That grin, he had the world beguiled. 5 months since I lost my immortality, 5 months since my world ended with such finality. Our house is still filled with all of his stuff, And so many photos, but those still arent enough. They do not do the justice of those 6 months of joy, Those incredible days, just me and my boy. The times gone so slow, and yet so fast, Living with out him in pain thats destined to last. Im asked now if Im ok and I respond with a lie, How can you be when youve seen your baby die? So its been 5 months since that time I was truly happy, God, Id even give anything to change one more nappy. 5 months since I sang to him and told him good night, 5 months since I lost my meaning, my hope and my light.
