Only God is Able to Change Your Spouses Heart. Don’t waste time complaining, nagging, shouting or manipulating him/her. Change cannot be forced externally. Heart change cannot be prescribed by a therapist. Your spouse’s problems are just symptoms of a defective heart. Therefore don’t waste time dealing with the symptoms. Ask God to deal with the root of the problem once and for all. Go into the inner room and seek God in prayer. Have faith in God’s ability to change your spouse’s heart because heart change is God’s business. “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26.
