Only Independence will give Scotland the powers to reduce inequality and poverty. Now, thats not a direct quote, but its the gist of a lot of what has been said. I am sure that reducing inequality and poverty is something that everyone wants for our country, wether youre a Yes, No or Undecided, but that statement alone is mere rhetoric. So my question is, What will actually happen on the ground to achieve these aims after a Yes vote? Will benefits rise? Will the minimum wage rise? Will the tax we pay go up? I find a lot of the debate is filled with aspirational statements, but what are the nuts and bolts of these?
