Only a few of you know this, but I had to rush back to South Carolina from my trip back to Oklahoma yesterday. My mom had to go to the ER Thursday night for some severe headaches that she has been having over these last few weeks. She has also had vision problems, memory loss, and other things that we knew just werent right. Scans have been done, and it has been confirmed that my mom has a brain tumor on the right side of her brain. A lot of the details are still unknown, but surgery will be taking place this upcoming Wednesday. Im not posting this to get sympathy but simply to ask for your thoughts and prayers for her. These next few days are going to be extremely difficult, and I will be in position where I will be making a lot of difficult decisions. My mom is in stable condition, but she has been very upset about all of this. For those of you that know her, I am not necessarily opposed to people visiting; however, I will probably try to limit the number of people. I think its good to have people there to talk to her, but I want her to get plenty of rest and not be exposed to outside germs since her immune system is weak due to all of this. Again, please continue to keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers. I think it will make her feel much better to know that there are people thinking about her during this time. Thanks.
