Only an immature person chooses a mate purely on how he or she looks. Beauty is far deeper than that. Some of the most beautiful people I have ever met have been old, yet radiating such an inner grace and dignity. A man will always gravitate towards a woman who builds him up. In fact it is a woman’s job to build her man’s ego. If a woman cuts her man down to size all the time, she destroys her own future. He needs that sense of self assurance to give you a better life. Women, if you are going to lose your man, it will be to someone who makes him feel like a king and who admires him more than you do. Men are always fearful that you will find out that he doesn’t really quite know what he is doing. That is why a man is notoriously bad at asking directions – he is hoping to find his way back without losing face, even if it takes longer! If you build up your man, it will be good for you both. A kind woman will always move a man’s heart. Although you think you are insecure, ladies, us men are even more so; and you are literally the shelter we guys need to be safe. Men don’t do “alone” very well, but if the motivation to hook up with someone is to get a housekeeper or cook, recognize that there will need to be more than that at the foundation of your relationship for it to unfold in any fulfilling way. There is nothing worse that a person who is impressed with him or herself. Just because you look good, doesn’t mean you are a good catch. Develop a meek and quiet spirit: not hysterical and dramatic, but dignified and classy. It doesn’t take money to shine out – just make sure that you are a person who has that “special something” within. There is so much talk in relationship seminars women having a Jezebel spirit. Yet Jezebels’ strength wasn’t her chief problem – it was Ahab, who was too weak to manage her. If a woman’s strength intimidates you, gentlemen, you are not a man yet. Go home to your mama!
