Floating Points calls on the cavalry for this satiny ethio-pop tinged rocker, as his 16 piece ensemble throws regal horn arrangements and a live shuffling break under the Swedish soulstress’ powerful vocal treatments. Yellow Memories follows up collaborations with Dam-Funk and SA-RA‘s Shafiq Husayn, and if “Do Better” is any clue as to what to expect, its time to get excited.
