Only in Iligan City can you see that a few meters away from the overpass there is a pedestrian lane. One in IIT, another in Gaisano. The overpass project is useless and the pedestrian lane causes more traffic congestion especially during schooldays. I hope the traffic enforcers will close down the pedestrian lane during school days so that the people will be forced to use the overpass to cross the streets thereby helping decongest the traffic especially during rush hours.
