Only managed to do 58 km today. Strong (and cold) headwind, a million truck coming in the opposite direction creating insane headwinds, wisdom teeth still aching a bit (and causing a headache) and generally feeling crap. All of which, when combined, resulted in me calling it a day early in Kerang. I simply couldnt face doing another kilometer under those conditions. So found a cheap caravan park ($10) and went to the library to find a smaller and truck free road to ride on tomorrow. Hope to do just short of 100km tomorrow to Echuca and then reach Cobram the following day (where Im staying with a lovely family). Its these days that are hard and I keep asking myself Why? and crying out the a swear word (or five) next to the road. But I just have to remember the good days and soldier through... Not feeling the high spirit and merry mood today tough, thats for sure.
