Only took us 4 months, but Operation New Front Yard is complete! New composite deck with benches & chairs, new driveway with wraparound path, bridge and pondless waterfall, new lighted landscaping & sod, fresh paint, rebuilt mailbox, 27 new swear words invented by The Wife directed at the contractor and/or me, dozens of compliments from neighbors (including "Looks so nice that we thought new people lived here!") and a U.S. Postal Service-level debt.
