Ontario is extremely pretty, no mountains yet, the biggest Ive seen are smaller than the Twin Knolls in east Mesa. But its green and filled with lakes, rivers and streams and trees. Its beautiful. Im in Thunder Bay, headed east, around the Canadian side of the Great Lakes on Highway 17. The Trans-Canada Highway is way beautiful and fun to travel. In some places near the big cities, its divided with two lanes each way. The rest of it is a two-laner, one lane each way, like the road from Florence to Oracle Junction. Or like the way it used to be going to Payson. It goes right through all the little towns along the way which makes it even better. The only thing wrong with Ontario is the speed limits on their portion of the Trans-Canada Highway. Double-Nichols only and they mean it. Ive been told several times to keep my speed down or ill get a coupon. Its 90kph. Or about 55mph. Ive been riding about 62mph and people line behind me and wont pass. They are using me as a fuzz-buster. Ive only been able to make 400 miles today, Ill make another 100 before night fall.
