IV Avon doughnut handled butt section, with a good set of original transfers ... so I made a bid, and won it. An email to a good friend then produced a newly built replacement tip section ... so a winters project will produce a complete B. James & Son Mk. IV Avon for around £150 which will match my doughnut handled Mk. IV Carp, and live alongside my Kennet Perfection. Hurrah !!!
