Grid references Some of the Route Handouts defining the Regularity Sections will require Trial crews to accurately plot 8 figure Grid References onto a map extract. The map extracts will be at a scale of 1:50,000 and will feature a grid of 1km squares. If you don’t know how to do this you have 1 week to find out and to obtain the necessary equipment (a romer)!
