Oooh yay~ now for my Banzai post~ THIS IS GONNA BE REALLY LONG BECAUSE I LIKE GOING INTO DETAIL OKAY Im not going to tag anyone unless youre specifically mentioned, because you know if you saw me and Im sure you all have been tagged in a million posts, so Im not going to xP Alright, so the first day was my favorite, I think. I went as Pajama Ryuko, and Im so happy with all the praise I got for my hard work ;u; So many people recognized me and complimented my costume and it just made me so happy and lfkasjdlghal;sdfasldj Especially with the extra effort it took to get the guitar case, which was pretty brutal on my shoulders, but it was a fun prop that was great for me to have. Anyway, Chess! Im so glad I made it in. And when I found out that Sky was my Mako, it made everything better ;u; Especially when Mooney came up as the teacher xD Even better, I got to kill Jack, who killed me last year! I think Noel and Kaela did a fantastic job fixing up the little mistakes and keeping the game entertaining and fun! I also had tons of fun dancing with my Mako out in the courtyard, even though I was almost dying from the heat in my fleece pjs x.x And aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the Uta Pri panel! So, even though I didnt have a 1000% Love cosplay, I went in as Natsuki, and got a lot of praise for it ;u; I was SUPER nervous and almost scared, because I had never cosplayed Natsuki before, on top of the fact that I just marathoned the anime the week before. But everyone said I did well and I actually want to continue cosplaying him now ouo The panel was so much fun and the date with Stef was as well! It was super exciting, even though I couldnt see half the time xD And I still cant believe Abinadi got me a plushie of my waifu, Dead Master TTuTT After the panel and the date was the ball, which was pretty fun too. Even though a vast majority of the time I kinda kept getting left out ;u; But thats okay! A FANTASTIC Prussia saw I was left alone and took me on the best ballroom dance of my life xux Even though I didnt know how to dance, he guided me so well and it was a whole ton of fun, I couldnt stop smiling! Unfortunately the ball grew boring for me really quickly, but then Jack and Atlas said they were going to the pj party, so I decided to put Ryuko back on. Unfortunately the party wasnt as fun as wed thought it would be, so we held a little pow-wow in the hall, which was tons of fun until I had to go practice my skit for the cosplay contest. Well that never really happened, but I had some fun and laughs with Kat and Tabi in our hotel room xD Okay, Saturday! This was an interesting day. I had to go help out at the HobbyFan booth, and I honestly dont remember much until the Cosplay Contest xux Oh yeah! The Vocaloid mixer! That was a lot of fun while we were in there. I won a little Luka figure and Hael gave me a cute Itachi print! AH AND THEN THERE WAS THIS ADORABLE LITTLE IB WHO SURPRISED ME. She was about 9 or 10, and I accidentally bumped into her when she came to hug me. She was so cuuuutteee! We talked for most of the time, and she gave me one of her roses TTUTT Okay, now I dont remember what happened after that, until the Cosplay Contest. At first I wasnt too nervous, but it wasnt until actually walking into the room to get ready for it that it finally hit me n.n;;; It wasnt as scary as I thought it was, though it didnt exactly go as smoothly as I was hoping either. For those who dont know, Kats and my skit got skipped! They didnt see us sitting with the other contestants, because we were in the back so Kat could use the ramp for her foot ;n; It scared the crap out of me when they skipped us, but they quickly fixed it after the other skit. Luckily, we had no other technical difficulty, and our skit went through great! It was lots of fun, even though I was shaking afterwards n.n;; Oh! And Id like to thank Mercedes, Renna, and Shannon for being so nice and friendly and answering questions for this little contest noob ;u; You all did fantastic! And you all got awards! Though it was expected, seeing as how you all are amazing cosplayers and veterans of the craft. After the contest I was so excited to see Tabi as Garry! Then as a full group, we wandered around a bit and danced outside until we decided to go change for the rave. Im a bit sad I wasnt able to wear BRS for other than the rave, but I still had fun in it! We got there late, but just in time for Tabis friend to start his set, and he played Fantastic Baby! That was what got us going for the other songs, and Tabi successfully learned how to do a bit of jumpstyle~ When things started dying down in my group, I was dragged to the circle, where I was able to do a bit of jumping. There was this awesome Link(?)/Elf (I dunno it was dark I couldnt see exactly what she was xD) who was so excited that I could do jumpstyle, even though I just know the basics, that when I got out of the circle she pulled me to the side to jump with me for a little while. When I went to get water, I had a nice talk with Kevin for a bit, until I went to rest with my friends. But then I saw NaLavi and just HAD to go dance again xD and then I ran into Joe, Colin, and more friends! And of course, a long comes Emma and Lynsi...with her bulge xD Were not going to talk about that. We pretty much danced all night until the rave ended, and then I went to head back to my hotel room. ILL SAVE MY VIC MIGNOGNA STORY FOR ANOTHER POST BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE THIS POST TWICE AS LONG AS IT ALREADY IS. After that lovely disaster of collection of encounters, I was finally able to get to my room with my friends in one piece. They wont stop making fun of me for it u.u;; Okay~ Sunday! When I woke up, it was so freaking hard to move x.x I was so sore and sluggish, I ended up sleeping in til almost 10. Sadly, we couldnt do Broadway, but we all were in Lucifer and were amazing and Im so happy I was able to get everything together xux We danced Lucifer out in the courtyard, and were approached by a couple of people who were interested in our group! Yay! But of course, while I was dancing Fantastic Baby, my rediculously tight pants split xD I was expecting them to, just not in the location they did xD Scott was kind enough to lend me his Akatsuki cloak while I ran up and changed into my other pair of black, not-so-tight pants. After some other dancing, we went to go have a mini photoshoot with Julie~ That was fun too ouo Afterwards, we went and helped take down the HobbyFan booth, and I got some more swag~ We ended things with a dinner at Dennys, and when we got back the con had ended. After a bit of packing, we ran into Kaela, Noel, and Jacob in the halls, and ended up hanging out with them for a while. But we had to finish packing, so we went back to our room. But after all of the craziness, Id like to say that this is one of the best Anime Banzai experiences Ive had. Everyone just made it so fun and memorable and Im so happy I was able to go and hang out with such cool people.
