Oops! BJP Manipur getting too much attention these days -more than it can chew! Way back in 2012 assembly election we were untouchable then, no candidate was willing to take risk on a BJP ticket. People who had refused us then are now seen loitering in the party office. This is the magic of coming to power in the centre. How should one judge these people? Should we give tickets to people who were in 2nd or 3rd position in the last election and are hoping to ride on the BJP and Modi wave to reach to the assembly? Wont it be a better idea to poach the current MLAs who would only be too glad to cross the fence rather than go in for people with little or no political legitimacy? At a ratio of 60:40 with 60%being fresh and young blood from the parivar who are committed to party ideology. And the remaining 40% from the crossover. Encouraging karyakartas committed to party ideology of Hindutva as Nationalism and value based politics- is the mission of the party rather than coming to power with people with wrong commitments. Forming the Govt, is not the be all and end all of BJP ,commitment to party ideology has always been at the forefront. Lets all strive for a more responsible and serious politics. Serious things need to be done seriously. Politics is too serious a business to be left to non serious and self seeking people.
