Op Quaterback - Terristan Update 241400Z OCT 14 You may all recall that due to both internal and external political pressure the UN Peace Keeping Force was forced to withdraw from Terristan in July 2014, hostile activity was at the lowest level it had ever been within recent history due to the UN presence. Without the UN policing Terristan hostile action from the anti government factions was expected to increase with possible cross border incursions, cross border missile and rocket attacks and kidnapping of foreign aid and infrastructure workers. Things were, up until recently All Quiet on the Western Front however both Satellite and Electronic surveillance have identified several new military type installations emerging inside Terristan. At this stage, friendly action will remain in the form of surviellence only, unless things deteriorate or hostile actions occur then no boots will be on the ground.
