Open Doors God opens doors that no man can shut; and shuts doors that no man can open. We know His will and purpose for us is always greater than what we can ask or even imagine. We ask for what He has for us; and we receive it by faith. We seek His best through each test. We knock on the doors with peace and surety until He opens them for us. Our trust is not in the doors–but in God. One way God prepares us for an open door is through our seeking more of Him. He stirs us up in our Spirit. We find ourselves desiring more, with anticipation and excitement, sensing that something supernatural is about to happen. We expect miracles moment by moment. We know adversities occur because of the great and effectual doors God has prepared for us, even if we do not know what it is exactly. It’s because of our faith that we can keep knocking on the door, knowing that whatever is on the other side, is His perfect will for us. If a door closes, we rejoice knowing God has something better for us. What matters most is to apprehend all that God has apprehended for us. As we walk through open doors, God shuts the doors of our past so we will not be tempted to go back. There are doors the Holy Spirit leads us to knock on, and there are others that He opens automatically. These are activated as we keep our eyes on Him, and we suddenly realize, “We have gone through another door,” from glory to glory!
