Please read between the lines that this means that unless you have just moved to CA, just got out of jail, just became a US Citizen, Just born, or Just married....The store to buy individual/family insurance is CLOSED. In or out of the exchange.....the store is closed. Your ship has sailed.... So, when you hear the announcement that Covered CA enrollment CLOSES MARCH 31st...that means individuals who didnt apply for insurance will not have access to do so again till the fall for a 1/1/2015 effective date. Free appointments by phone or in person are available to help you make your decision. We can help you secure coverage now.....but not after the stores close March 31st until they open again. Those of you looking to get group insurance or Medicare.... Your are welcome to purchase all year round.
