Open Letter to EXPEDIA THAILAND. Itin: 12324899683 - Case ID : [REQ:S-71332516] IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING A TICKET FROM THEM, THINK TWICE AND READ THIS FIRST: I am here to leave my WORST REMARKS TO EXPEDIA THAILAND and advise and warn all FB users what irresponsible and unprofessional the attitude of this company is. I bought a ticket from this company to travel on the same day from Hong Kong to Thailand. AFTER EXPEDIA confirmed my ticket they sent me a message that my flight itinerary had been canceled, I immediately bought from a different company. EXPEDIA went ahead and charged my credit card after saying that the flight had been canceled. I only found out they had charged me when the credit card bill came. Now I have been for 5 days trying to solve this problem. First through email, and then they reply asking me to call. Each time I call they make me wait for more then 20 minutes just on hold before I can talk to somebody. I have called them about 6 times already. Being overseas, I have spent more then 1.000 Baht on telefone charges to try to get in contact with them. They are too busy and no one answers the phone. I feel so angry. The first reaction from them was to say that I had already used the flight and that they could not do anything for me. Their system shows I already flew. I have document of my e-ticket from the airline showing that THIS THIS IS NOT TRUE. After literally fighting with the ´EXPERT´ from EXPEDIA on the phone, they said they would try to solve my case in 3 days and I needed to send supporting evidence by email that what I was saying was true. I got very upset, because I have been trying to solve this for 5 days already. After 10 minutes, they sent me an email saying that I could change the ticket for a different date, but they want me to pay the charges for date changing fees, for something that I did not cause. These charges are almost the price of a budget airline flight for the same route. They want me to pay for the mistake in their system. THIS COMPANY TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTION AND THEIR SERVICE. NOW THEY HAVE MY MONEY AND I HAVE THEIR PROBLEM. Hope everybody out there avoids buying tickets from them.
