Open Letter to Tank Lipp Tank Lipp I am responding to you publicly because I actually care about this culture. I hope this serves as a wake up call to many. Tank Lipp, I strongly urge you to back away from your match up with Daylyt. Grind Time Now was always a welcoming platform. To this day, we accept all emcees no matter the skill level. I set this up from day one in hopes to train emcees on how to come up in the ranks. This also plays a positive role in any troubled individuals world. We were able to get aspiring artists to take their mind off their daily troubles and further develop cognitive thinking skills to later help them. I remember you well. I remember your mental breakdown during one of our events where we served as a support system to get you back in the ring and finish the battle. That day felt like we conquered a mountain of fear with you. Your skill level slightly increased and we were glad to have you as a friend of the battle community. You strayed away from battle rap all together and managed to achieve a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling despite your own mental illness. I congratulate you for this. All sounds well with you but here is where I must draw the line because nobody else is going to be brave enough to tell you that what you are currently doing is bad for you and our culture. You have been putting up horrible freestyles dissing Daylyt and now have managed to lock in a battle where he will fly to your house and battle you for a league called quiet room. I supported Daylyt for some time until I realized that he is making a mockery of this battle culture. What is being done to you, brother, is nothing but a big joke. Your mental illness is going to be used to mock you in a way that you believe is the exact opposite and I want to have no part of it. I am not going to attend your battle because it is a mockery to our culture and to yourself. This is a very serious issue to me and I hope you realize that I am saying this because I care about you.
