It uses a client–server model, where the server contacts each client to perform a backup at a scheduled time. 2.Areca Backup Areca Backup is a personal file backup software developed in Java. It is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) 2. Areca Backup includes a backup engine, as well as a graphical user interface and a command-line interface. 3.BackupPC BackupPC is a free disk-to-disk backup software suite with a web-based frontend. The cross-platform server will run on any Linux-, Solaris-, or UNIX-based server.
