Open letter to Black Christians. I shall begin my letter by quoting Prof. Molefi Asante: Until Africans publicly acknowledges, honors, and prays to an African God, we Africans will continue to be viewed as pathetic imitators of others, never having believed in Ourselves. I do not try to disrespect anyone but i want to tell the truth. The Bible say you shall know the truth, and it shall set u free. I know majority of you are afraid to tell The truth. Your are afraid to tell God the truth about your life. We go to church and pretend as if everything is alright. The reason is because we adopted and Accepted some foreign God. The truth is we allowed white people to still our God and repackaged back to us and teaches us to hate ourselves and African Principles. We are so lost that we dont even know. We are stuck on belief system that seeks to destroy us mentally. This foreign God encourages us to love poverty , like happier are the poor in because they will inherit the heaven. Further more this evil God encourages us to love our oppressors and hate our liberation. When the Gospel was introduced back to us, it was interpreted in a way that will protect the western political and economic interest. White people converted us to their religion at the same time looking for our resources and lands. Have u ever ask yourself a question why whites are rich yet black are poor if we are serving the same God? Is this God fair? Why is giving others wealth, comfort, security, and the best quality education and health system and only us black live in squalor and massive inequality? Why the same God is silent when white people are raping our women, brutalizing our children and demanding our wealth and soul?. The foreign God forced us to reject our history, Gods, ancestors , the methods of medication, clothes, have brought us deep into quagmire of misdirection, misorientation and self pity. Any religion that asks you to do what others do not have to do is asking you to abandon your mother. Now as we are approaching festive 2015 we must not feel embarrassed to talk the truth to our God. Our God is loving and caring. We must ask him to give us strength to fight our enemies who stole from us our resources and lands. Our African God and ancestors do not advance destruction. They are waiting for us to acknowledge them. We must remove all images of white jesus. This is not correct. Our historical Jesus had to be black in colour. We must understand that when others extend their values , religion, institutions, they are penetrating our Traditions with the poison of alien power that teaches us to hate ourselves and love our oppressors. It is the time to create our African God if he was killed. Our African God must say something about out situation. If miners are killed in marikana he must say something. If a leader builds himself a palace worth more than 200 million in the face of poverty he must interven on our behalf. Other challenge is with the white God he collects money every Sunday from poor and working class and use it to build auditoriums, and expensive cars for Pastors. This is theft.
