Opening date for new West Bromwich Odeon cinema The new £3 million Odeon cinema will open its doors in West Bromwich on July 12 bosses revealed today. The five-screen cinema is opening as part of the £200m New Square shoppingand leisure development. New Square will be anchored by a Tesco Extra store. The first phase will launch this month with the Tesco store, Odeon Cinema, Next, Bank and restaurant units due to open. The rest of the retailers will open later in the year. To celebrate the opening Odeon will be offering family tickets for £15 throughout July. Roger Harris, Odeon chief operating officer for UK and Ireland said: “We are thrilled to be part of the New Square development and very much looking forward to welcoming guests to the new Odeon West Bromwich site.” Steve Burr, Centre Manager for New Square, said: “I know that the Odeon will be a great asset.”
