Opening for Project Specialist - Public Safety (corporate Social Responsibility) Job Location - Bangalore Experience: 4 to 7 yrs. Salary- INR 12,00,000-15,00,000 INR Qualification: Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Social Work (MSW) or Public Health (MPH)or any other related professional qualification from a premier institute. Experience :4-7 years of work experience.Experience in selling of business ideas/ ideas for social development in corporates, NGOs, government agencies etc.Worked with government and non-governmental agencies for social causes. JOB FUNCTION: Under minimal supervision, independently manages execution and timely completion of Projects in multiple categories related primarily to Road Safety and may include other public safety initiatives like Electrical & Fire Safety & Workplace Safety for Not for Profit organization (NFP). The work responsibilities will mainly revolve around various aspects of road safety enhancement works, black spot analysis, road safety policy formulation, road safety awareness, road safety database management, etc. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will report directly to the Vice President- Public Safety Mission and work collaboratively with key global NFP members and subject matter experts, to build and manage artners and programs in India. The position is best suited for mature professionals who wish to transition from corporate consulting roles in organization development, to address a significant social problem. 1.LIASIONING-Ensuring work programmes covering all functions within the coverage areas related to Safety, with the aim of bringing about systematic change & Improvement in the Safety standards by building partnerships with NGOs, Government Machinery, Local Administration, State Police officials to carryout sustainable development projects and sustaining Community Initiatives with organizations of repute in diverse industry segments. 2. Participate in Public Relation&Media Communication programmes and coordinate with the in-house Corporate Communications team to work with Advertising agencies, PR Agencies, etc, thus developing relations with the key opinion makers in the area 3. PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT-Programme development and implementation, partnership management, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, budgeting, establishing networks and advocacy. 4. Active engagement in implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility for the organization. 5. Planning, Strategizing, Developing & initiating a sense of Community participation amongst employees, Franchisees, Distributors across states with independent Community Development schemes. 6. WORKSHOPS & SEMINARS-Evangelize Workshops & Conferences. Conduct multi-disciplinary studies on road safety issues and initiate matters for consideration by management & its subcommittees. Develop and document procedures and distribute relevant safety information / materials as necessary. 7. COMMUNICATION-Serve as local spokesperson as and when appropriate. Work with Corporate communications team and develop marketing collaterals for external and external communication including brochures, leaflets, press note, articles, newsletters, videos, whitepapers and technical write-ups with subject experts. 9. FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES:Creating project funding proposals using Indias core campaign work, to be used for local as well as international funding prospects. Identifying additional funding opportunities for Indias program, and ensuring the distribution of those opportunities for local and international fundraising.
