Openings for Security Administrator in IR, Bangalore Job Description: This position is responsible for collaboration with monitoring team to ensure network, server, and circuit availability in a 24x7 environment. Responsible for initial triage when fault conditions occur and engaging appropriate support teams for resolution. Roles and Responsibilities: Fault handling and escalation based on events received from Orion monitoring system. Develops improvement recommendations to optimize service delivery Maintenance of Operations Center documentation of process and procedures used throughout normal operations. Participate in 24x7 operations team. Ability to provide first level triage to determine if issue is hardware, environmental, or carrier and engage teams accordingly. Should have good verbal and written communication skills. Accountability: Ensure maximum possible availability for Ingersoll Rand WAN. Identification and interpretation of fault conditions. Logging trouble tickets in ticketing and tracking application (Remedy). Assign appropriate parties responsible for ticket resolution. Engage remote site contacts to verify environmental conditions. Notify 3rd party circuit vendors for outages. Track and communicate 3rd parties resolution progress. Basic connectivity troubleshooting. Location:- Bangalore Job Requirement: Knowledge and Skills Understanding of IT environments and processes Analysis and Troubleshooting Experience: A minimum of 3 years IT experience, with a minimum of 18 months experience in IT support. A three year degree / Diploma in Information Systems or a similar field or equivalent work experience. Track record in successfully delivering global services through service provider(s). Success in working in teams in international company. Experience in effective relationship/conflict management.
