[Opera & Film] Lyric is currently working on a new production of Wagners DER RING DES NIBELUNGEN. The first installation of this four-opera cycle is set to debut during our 2016/2017 season starring Lyric favorites Christine Goerke and Eric Owens (both of which can be seen at tomorrows 60th Anniversary Concert). Many may see Wagners Ride of the Valkyries as more triumphant than frightening, but no one can deny that even the thought of staging all 15 hours of the RING cycle straight through is scary!
