Operation Christmas Complete is going to be a little different this year. Due to not having time to get letters out and so forth we will be doing a Christmas Store. This store will be free. There will be no charge for the items you come in and select for your children. We will have toys, clothing, household items, and more. Some will be new and some will be used but in great shape. If you know for sure that your child would like something special you may write it on the back of this paper or a plain piece of paper and include your name, what it is you are requesting, and any other needed information and place it in an envelope and either drop it in the night box at city hall or return to the FACS teacher, Mrs. Adcock. We will try to get it. We will then set up the store and allow people to come in and select the gifts for their children. We are also allowing the children to come in and select things for their siblings and their parents. The kids are just as proud to be able to give as parents are so we are going to try it this way this year. While some of you may not need the help but would be willing to donate here is a sample of what we could use: Balls, dolls, trucks, board games, movies, books, puzzles, action figures, makeup, fingernail polish, jewelry, craft kids, clothing of all sizes, snow boots all sizes, mittens/gloves, hats, scarfs, household items, cologne, body wash, hair products, socks, hoodies, tools, slippers, perfume, legos, infant items, coats, snow pants, coveralls, sleds, and whatever else you can think of. We will also need wrapping paper, bows, tape, ribbon so that we may help the little ones wrap the presents that they pick out for their parents and siblings. We will also be taking food donations to distribute to those in need. Any and help in this would be greatly appreciated. You may drop off your donations to either the school and have them taken to the FACS room or to the city hall. We will be having the store on the 18th and 19th of December from 2pm to 6pm. We will have the items out on display for you to come in and shop and we will be able to help the little ones do their shopping. We have talked with the youth center and they have agreed to let us set up our shop in the youth center but should something unforeseen come up and it cannot be held there we will be holding it at the city hall in Eagleville.
