Operation Help a Kid We are starting a drive to help a young person in our community. This young person has fallen on some hard times and has an amazing future ahead. They are a friend of our family and a member of our church. They have dreams of going to college and starting a future after high school but she doesnt have nor can afford an automobile. We are looking for a group of people to donate money to help this young person have the opportunity to get reliable transportation to get to and from a job and to and from college. We are trying to find 25-35 people donate $100 each to contribute to a vehicle cost. I have arranged for a reputable car dealer to handle the funds and administration work and we have also found a repair shop to donate any repairs and costs to bring the vehicle to standards. Wed like to do this as a Christmas gift to this young person. They will be responsible for taxes and insurance. Ive never done anything like this in my 20+ years in the auto industry but I feel compelled to help this great young kid catch a break and launch their life on a positive note.
