Operation STOMP, along with countless local residents, asked for - TopicsExpress

Operation STOMP, along with countless local residents, asked for our voices to be heard about S. Oyster Bay Road and the way this project has been handled, the public left wholly uninformed and involved-- early on, we contacted our local County legislators, and requested a public forum, a town hall, asked them to intervene. Our requests were ignored and denied. Surprisingly but not so surprisingly, Legislator Jacobs, an environmental advocate, has granted this Town Hall wish for 8 Jericho residents regarding speed cameras tonight. 2,600 > 8. Please contact her offices today to discuss this ironical fairness and ask her to honor our request too - (516) 571-6216, [email protected]. And, if youre in the Cantiague School area at 7:30 PM, you may want to stop by the meeting this evening. :) #savethetrees #politics #safetyfirst
