Operation Ward 57 is proud to partner with Remember September, a Connecticut based Indie Rock band, for their 7th annual visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. On Saturday, August 9th, from 1230pm-4pm at the USO Warrior and Family Center, the band will be performing as well as providing free lunch for the wounded, ill and injured and their families. There will be raffles and giveaways as well. Last year through the generosity of their fans and corporate sponsors, they were able to provide a catered lunch for over 300 soldiers, families and the staff, also delivering gift-cards, well wishes and some Remember September merchandise. Remember September has performed alongside several legendary bands such as Train, Chicago, .38 Special, Average White Band, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Johnny Winter, Randy Travis, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, The Guess Who, Steve Vai, The Spin Doctors and several others.
