Operation and Maintenance of Cone Crusher 1. Cone crusher shall be equipped with an iron removing device to protect the crushing chamber from iron passing, for frequent iron passing will result in shaft breaking 2. Cone crusher shall work under full load. Otherwise the final product will be too coarse. 3. In the process of crushing, materials feeding shall be even. Uneven feeding will result in low crushing capacity, over-size final product, frequent spring moving, big bowl bearing pressure and high power consumption. 4. Lubrication oil shall be changed frequently. Too dirty lubrication oil will intensify the abrasion of gear wheel and bowl-shape bearing and bearing sleeve, and even cause blocking of shaft sleeve. 5. Transmission belt shall not be too tight. Otherwise, the transmission shaft is not able to rotate flexibly and even will break. The belt also cannot be too loose. If not, the crusher might stop. 6. Too clammy materials, and too much fine grain or big grains are not allowed. Otherwise, the crusher will stop. The crushing ratio shall be distributed reasonably in the crushing line. In this way, the crusher can achieve the maximum crushing efficiency. 7. Spring pressure shall not be too big for over pressure might cause a shaft break accident, while too small pressure might cause frequent up-and-down moving of spring which will influence the normal work of cone crusher and even coarse the final product.
