Operations Manager- Mozambique $5000-6000 Our client, a software solutions integrator, specialises in the development, implementation and operation of end-to-end solutions for governments in Africa. Their main objective is to enable government to maximise revenue collection whilst maintaining control of all security, regulatory and law enforcement requirements. They currently require an Operations Manager to handle their operations in Mozambique. The person will be based in Maputo or Matola and be able to travel within the country as required and at short notice. The total package is negotiable for the right candidate. The basic salary will be roughly USD5000 per month. Housing and other benefits will be negotiated according to the candidates circumstances and current location etc. KEY SKILL Fluent in English & Portuguese. Previous sales & operations background. Experience within an IT company would be highly beneficial. Project Management experience would be beneficial. Ability to work independently but also manage relationships with contractors who are working within each project. Flexibility to travel is essential (may be up to 4 weeks of the month at times depending on the project requirements). Knowledge of the local market and business etiquette in Mozambique.
