Opinion: Its heartening to see that our leaders are standing up for the common mans right to vote. To create obstructions to the voting rights, this fundamental source of trust in, and a feeling of belonging to, the democracy, is no less than an attempt to undermine the democracy. As I understand, this has been in reaction o some unfair attempts perceptibly aimed at handicapping one or another strong political party. Unfair practices as this are extensions of a bullying mindset, and they should be dealt with effectively, whether be in politics, in business, in cultural affairs, education, arts, sciences, or in direct social interactions. -- © 2014, Payman Akhalghi.
