Opinion: Scott is Better Shutting Up So Vice President Guy - TopicsExpress

Opinion: Scott is Better Shutting Up So Vice President Guy Scott decided to call an impromptu press briefing just to have a go at former Defence Minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba? A press conference which under President Michael Sata has become so elusive that Zambians have given up on being addressed by their leader on the state of the nation. Ironically Scott accused GBM of hiding under facebook but his HONOUR could have taken time to notice that his boss has become a facebook communicator. Scott went further to say, “we are tired of reading his facebook postings”. One would feel for staff at ZNBC and other PF controlled media that have to endure lifting chaff from President Sata’s facebook page to fill up half their news bulletins. In any case who forces Scott to read GBM’s facebook page? Or maybe as he was afraid to admit they have made it their business to monitor what their Kasama lawmaker writes? After all it is now in public domain that one of HIS EXCELLENCY’s favourite pastime activities is listening to private conversations of citizens. If GBM is not so much a factor why leave government business and address the media on GBM? Scott seems to have been in a hurry to impress his boss. Poor Scott, was he even listening to himself when he said from Katuba we want to go to Kasama and sort out GBM? Another by-election? Really? Is it how easy it has become for the PF to embrace by-elections? Is it how carefree they are with dishing out state resources on useless by-elections? So for the PF it would be so important to commit national resources just to humiliate GBM in a by-election-to show him who is more popular? And this is the supposed most intelligent PF member if not not most educated. And for all the power and privilege that he enjoys at the expense of Zambian tax payers, Scott seems haunted by the shadow of former Information Permanent Secretary Emanuel Mwamba. Surely there is something Scott was not saying because it is clear somewhere we have a very frightened leadership messed up by their own incessant blunders. Please Scott stop wasting Zambian’s time and tell YOUR BOSS to call that press conference otherwise you will do well to shut up! Maybe Hakainde Hichilema was right to say NDIWE MUZUNGU OPUSA CHIMUDALA. zambiareports/2014/01/29/opinion-scott-better-shutting/
