#Opinion# *Should we expect much from the Nigeria Police Force considering they are presently not well motivated?* The Inspector General of Police Mohammed Abubakar says the welfare of officers and men of the police force shall continue to remain on it top priority agenda. Abubakar made this known today while giving awards to 8 deserving members of theForce Criminal Investigative Department for dedication and selfless service at the 2013 Force Criminal Intelligent Award at the force headquarters in Abuja. He observed that the award is coming at the time when members of the police force need all the necessary encouragement to rekindle the spirit of service to the nation. The IG further restated the commitment of his administration in tacking the various challenges facing the police force and urged all CID personnel’s to remain committed and focus to the ideals, mission and vision of the force to return the police force to its former glory. In his remarks the deputy inspector general of police charge of the force CID Peter Gana expressed satisfaction over the commitment of the Inspector general of Police in reforming the police force in it quest to fight crime, adding that the force CID have recorded some level of success.
