Opinions, conformed to and dominated by modern society and ideologies, are still merely opinions. When we let our opinions defy and surpass the validity of Ancient Truth, we commit idolatry. We take for granted the gift God has given us to think freely, abuse it, distort it, and forget to humble ourselves before the All-knowing, bear in mind - All Powerful God. We then start to believe we are gods, worshiping ourselves. Whatever feels good must be truth, so we automatically think only of ourselves because of our all-knowing opinion. Yet, even God does not put Himself before others. But if we so desire to reject the truth in place of our own little opinions, He will allow it. Now we can watch the world crumble under our power.
