Opinions needed - had to get rid of all my booster seats and infant car seat due to them being expired (yes they expire). SOOOO I have a newby coming within a week or so, should I buy I new infant car seat where the base stays in the car (i like being able to bundle baby up and keep it warm while in and out of car, and for shopping because they sit right on the shopping cart) OR - get a 3 way convertible car seat that will seat the baby until he/she is out of a car seat and into a booster. When going to church or families or something, baby is almost always held and not in the carseat, but grocery shopping it is easier to just sit the infant car seat on the cart and it locks on (but I do have a front pack). Give me your pros and cons - I am undecided!!!
